Spirit Nation was the first band to record for ARC Records. The band was founded by Guitarist Vocalist Douglas Brockie a former guitarist with Johnny Winter & Ginger Baker and others. Spirit Nations first release is entitled "First Mystery". Douglas employed the talents of Marvin Louis Smith & Mark Coffey on drums. For the bottom line Doug used bassists John Sidereal & Pat Jones. Backup vocals were provided by Margaret Brockie. Spirit Nation is currently touring with the talents of Marvin Smith / Drums & Pat Jones / Bass as the rhythm section backing up the Guitar & Vocals of Douglas Brockie. Akasha Force has released a single on ARC Records. The band recorded in Ireland while on tour. It features the Guitar work of Douglas Brockie with the rhythm section of Robbie Poole Drums & Karl Hill Bassist.
